Childhood
Jackie Robinson was born January 31,1919. When Jackie was six months oldhis father deserted him and his family which consisted of his mom, his sister and his three brothers. Jackie was the youngest of the family. Nine months later when Jackie was 15 months old (1 year and 3 months old) His mom and family moved to Pasadena California where his mom worked as a house wife. Then when his sister started elementary school there was no one home to watch him. So after his mother talked to the school Jackie was allowed to stay with her during the day.
